Crypto bowl! Viewers will be inundated with cryptocurrency commercials during the Super Bowl

Along with the pass blocking at the Super Bowl this year, viewers will see plenty of blockchain during the commercials.

In fact, some are calling this year’s NFL championship game the Crypto Bowl – because so many of the event’s commercials will be shilling cryptocurrency.

Online exchange FTX will run ads with former Tampa Bay Quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, featuring New York Jets superfan Fireman Ed.

Canada’s cryptocurrency exchange BitBuy hired NBA star Kyle Lowery to help move its product.

And Crypto.com cast Matt Damon to provide a re-born ultimatum for the viewers to choose their digital currency site.

Coinbase and Israeli financial services EToro will also run spots.

For many, especially those who have bet big on cryptocurrency, they see this as a sign that the new money has finally gone mainstream.

‘These companies are conveying that we’re not this weird little nerdy kid in the corner who’s doing sort-of shifty stuff,’ Beth Egan, an associate professor of advertising at Syracuse University told The New York Times. ‘We are a real company, a real advertiser, we’re here to stay, we’re mainstream.’

NBC, which is broadcasting the game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams, is expecting more than100 million viewers and is charging $7 million for a 30 second spot.

“In the US, there is no other event each year where consumers actively look forward to being advertised to,” FTX marketing executive Nathaniel Whittemore told Blockworks.

The not so subtle theme of all the ads is: Don’t miss out.

‘Kyle Lowry has missed over 6000 shots in his career,’ the voiceover says. ‘Don’t be like Kyle.’

Matt Damon saunters through a diorama of various adventure seeking events like New World exploration, K2 summiting and Appollo-like space missions.

‘Fortune favors the brave,’ Damon advises.

Brady and Bundchen call all their friends and ask, ‘Are you in?’

The Super Bowl ads are in keeping with the trend of pushing blockchain currency into America’s living rooms.

Crypto companies have spent about $113 million in ads since January 2020, according to Bloomberg news.

The following #crypto exchanges will be running ads during the Super Bowl today:

¿ Binance
¿ FTX
¿ Coinbase
¿ Crypto com
¿ eToro
¿ Bitbuy

It¿s predicted over 117 million people will be watching the game!

Digital currency isn’t the only thing being sold at the game.

A-listers from Kevin Hart, Megan Thee Stallion, Ewan McGregor, Zendaya will also be pitching everything from travel packages to potato chips.

Sideman Andy Richter dresses up as Julius Ceasar to push avocados from Mexico.

Blast from the past actress, Lindsay Lohan, looks hot and sweaty on an elliptical machine in an ad for Planet Fitness.

Married celebs Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost do an ad for Alexa in which they imagine what would happen if the virtual assistant could read their thoughts.

Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dave McCormick to air ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Super Bowl ad which hits Biden Administration for missteps

US Senate candidate Dave McCormick will air an ad during Sunday’s Super Bowl that refers to President Biden as ‘Brandon’ and criticizes his record on everything from the Afghanistan withdrawal to the economy recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic.

McCormick, 56, is one of dozens of candidates running to replace retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania.

He was the CEO of Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in the world with assets worth at least $150 billion, from 2020 until January of this year.

In the 30-second spot, somber quotes from mainstream media sources flash past the screen while a crowd chants ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’

‘This is so much bigger than Brandon,’ the ad concludes.

‘Let’s go Brandon’ became a rallying cry for conservatives after a NASCAR race in Alabama in October. The crowd was chanting ‘F*** Joe Biden,’ but an NBC reporter incorrectly said they were shouting ‘Let’s go Brandon’ while interviewing racer Brandon Brown.

President Biden was forced to acknowledge the slogan on Christmas Eve, when a father from Oregon said it to him during a holiday livestream.
